How long do deliveries take?

We will try to fulfill deliveries within 3-5 days. We will contact you if we are unable to fulfill your delivery in that time.

Can I receive a delivery from a local food bank/pantry?

Yes, you can request for a volunteer to pickup and deliver goods from a local food bank/pantry. In order for us to connect you with a volunteer to fulfill your food pantry delivery request, you must include 1) the address, phone number and hours of operation of a participating food pantry in your area along with 2) the number of people in your household, 3) any dietary or allergy restrictions, and 4) if you have ever been to the requested pantry before. Example: 

Name: RI Food Pantry address: 123 Main Street, Providence RI, phone number: 401-555-6325, hours of operation: Wed-Fri 10AM-2PM. There are 5 people in my household and a peanut allergy.

What happens after I put in a request?

After you put in a request for a delivery, Be Kind RI will reach out to our volunteer community. Once we are able to find a compatible volunteer, they will contact you directly via email or phone to facilitate the delivery.
